Become a Young Lawyer in just 4 days! Develop negotiation, advocacy and public speaking skills, supported by our world-class university mentors.
Does your child have a strong sense of what’s wrong and right, a flair for persuasion, or a keen interest in how the law works? Help them put their principles into practice on our immersive Young Lawyers course this summer, where they will be introduced to the core principles of law and learn how these operate in the real world. Alongside students from across the globe, they will build on key communication, negotiation and advocacy skills through a dynamic range of fun activities, supported by our world-class team of mentors. This immersive, interactive and high-energy course will see students introduced to a number of pathways into law, given the chance to connect with legal professionals, and hone the skills needed to pursue this exciting vocation. The course will culminate in an exciting mock trial, giving your child the chance to put their newfound skills and knowledge to good use amongst a supportive cohort of fellow young lawyers.

Our debating clubs are designed to help students of all levels of experience between the ages of 8-18. 83% of our students reported they feel more confident speaking up in class since joining Debate Mate.
Our sessions run for one hour at the same time each week. You can choose the day of your club from the time slots available.
All of our staff are trained in child safeguarding practices and have Enhanced DBS Checks completed prior to working with us.
Your child will develop the fundamental skills necessary to debate using a range of group activities and games.

Each session is an hour-long. We do ask that you log in to the session 5-10 minutes early to resolve any technical issues.
