What is the Debate Mate World Series?

The Debate Mate World Series is a virtual competitive debating league for schools around the world. It gives students aged 15-18 the chance to debate against other teams and receive guidance and feedback from expert Debate Mate Mentors from top universities!

Each round consists of 2 debates, one on a prepared motion that students are given a week in advance, and the other on an unseen motion revealed 20 minutes before the debate. The winners will be crowned ‘The Debate Mate World Series Champions Winter 2022’ and will receive a masterclass with a world champion debater!
