The Inside Scoop Summer Camp Week 1- Primary Journalism Project!

Yesterday marked the final day of our first week of Summer Camps, including our hugely successful Journalism Course!

Read on for the incredible article created by our Primary group Louie, Gabriel, Pretty and Nasir on the refugee crisis in Greece...

The students' final task was to put into practice all of the content and skills they'd learned so far to create an engaging news story to be posted on our blog!

This was the the brief given to the students by the editor:

“We need a news story which can be included on our website. It needs to be engaging and exciting, and really draw in readers with a catchy heading and subheading. It should follow the ‘inverted pyramid’ structure and really go into detail on the topic, using a variety of sources.”

And here is the fab article they created in response:

What a fantastic article by our budding journalists Louie, Gabriel, Pretty and Nasir, brilliantly fulfilling their brief!

🔗 Feeling inspired by our students' fantastic article? We still have places on our remaining Summer Camps, running over the next 2 weeks, including a re-run of our Journalism Camp!
