Occupying your child during the school holidays can be difficult, but it doesn't have to be! 🙌
Take a look at these three simple prompts you can use to encourage meaningful conversations with your child and keep them engaged whilst improving their communication and critical thinking skills 🚀
1) If I ruled the world... 👑Imagine that you ruled the world for a day – what would you do? Write down your thoughts, making sure to clearly explain why you have chosen that action. Be as creative as possible!
2) Just a minute! ⏰Talk for 1 minute giving an opinion on a topic that interests you without hesitation, deviation, or repetition. If you do any of these things, you have to stop the clock and start again!
3) Where do you stand? 👣 Pick two spots, maybe two trees quite far apart from each other, and assign one as agree, and one as disagree. You’ll hear a statement and you have to decide whether you agree or disagree with it - move to whichever spot corresponds with your view.
